乔伊Gertin

乔伊Gertin is a dance artist based in New York City. Born and raised in Toronto, 加拿大, Joey completed his training at Elite 跳舞worx under the direction of Dawn Rappitt. Currently studying in his final year at The Juilliard School under the direction of Alicia Graf Mak, Joey will receive his Bachelor of Fine Arts in the spring of 2024. Through his time at school, Joey has performed works by Ohad Naharin, Rena巴特勒, Aszure巴顿, Jamar罗伯茨, and Medhi Walerski. 2022年6月, he attended Springboard Danse Montréal, where he worked with Victor Quijada and Ethan Colangelo. In the Fall of 2022, Joey was selected to collaborate with a composer and create an original piece of choreography on three dancers for Juilliard’s Choreographers and Composers program. Joey's hunger to create and be led by generous, curious artists continues to grow tremendously.
